Friends Steering Committee
A Message From the Chairpersons
Since the Friends group was reorganized, we have been able to help
the library in a variety of ways. We have purchased equipment and
materials for the library including a light for the handicap
entrance, new signs for the library, an oak magazine display case
(beautifully handmade by Lynn Kendrick), tables, books and modernization of the library kitchen.
The Friends have not only been able to provide these tangible
items for the library, but also provide activities for all ages
that include reading programs, storytelling and used book sales.
Interested in joining the Friends Group? Please call Sally
Collins at 346-6743 or Mae Sharman at 346-2511. We look forward to
hearing from you!
